Organization Provides Showers for the Homeless

Posted by

“Clean people are happier, healthier, and more hopeful,” says Jake Austin, the founder of the non-profit organization Shower to the People. Jake and his team take their mobile shower truck out on the streets of St. Louis to bring hope and dignity to those who are facing homelessness.

Shower to the people also makes soap to hand out to those in need, which provides extra income for some who face poverty.

One man with a vision to help people can make a huge difference in this world!

You can follow Shower to the People on Facebook to see how much of a difference they’re making in the homeless community in St. Louis. Shower to the People’s vision is to expand to other cities. Check out their website if you’d like to donate!
